We are a growing school of approximately 300 students within two beautiful campuses in Bowness, Calgary, Alberta.
Drawing from the best educational pedagogies, we foster each child’s inherent intellectual and creative potential, while fulfilling their innate desire to learn – in a nurturing and innovative environment. It is an enquiry-based, student-centred program where learning is hands-on, contextual and centred around big ideas and questions that engage our students. We ensure the outcomes of the Alberta Program of Studies are being met and operate with low pupil-teacher ratio, maximizing instructional time and the personalization of learning.
With our Before & After School programs, River Valley School offers a safe, caring environment for children ages 3 to grade 6 from 7 AM to 6 PM Mondays through Fridays year-round.
