Welcome, Grandparents
& Special Community Members

Grandparents and family are an important part of our story.

At River Valley School, learning is rooted in relationships, and the support of family plays a meaningful role in a child’s experience. Grandparents bring history, perspective, and a deep sense of connection that enriches our community in ways both big and small.

We want to stay connected so we can warmly invite grandparents and family members into moments that matter—celebrations, special events, and experiences that reflect the joy of childhood and learning. By sharing occasional updates, we can ensure these invitations reach the people they’re meant for, while keeping communication simple, thoughtful, and meaningful.

If you’d like to learn more about upcoming opportunities or have questions, please feel free to reach out to us at community@rivervalleyschool.ca.

Grandparents and extended family members are warmly invited to be part of school life in ways that feel meaningful and comfortable to them.

  • Supporting classroom experiences through read-alouds, student clubs, or sharing personal interests and stories

  • Volunteering on field trips or special activity days
