Childcare Affordability Grants & Subsidies

Childcare Affordability Grant

Beginning January 2022, the Government of Alberta issued an affordability grant to ALL families regardless of income. Please note that this applies to our Pre-JK & JK year old programming only. You do not have to apply for this grant, our school submits for it each month based on your child’s attendance in our Pre-JK or JK program (full time or part time). The grant amount that you will receive from the government is as follows:

Preschool Age (3 & 4 year olds):

  • $450.00 per month (full time – over 100 hours per month)
  • $225.00 per month (part time – between 50 – 100 hours per month)

Please note: that subsidy is based on actual hours used and the full amount they show is based on 100 hours of attendance. If a student attends less than 100 hours, the rebate may be prorated.

Childcare Subsidy:

On top of the grant, parents of children not yet in school, that make less than $180,000 per year can apply for an additional subsidy. If you have a dual parent household, both parents need to be working or schooling to be considered. Click HERE to head to the subsidy website to learn if you qualify and apply.

International Students

International students residing in Canada with their parents may not be eligible for the Alberta Education Funding for Resident Students. Consequently, these students may assume the total cost of education for each year they attend the school.

Note: We do not offer boarding or a homestay program, students must be living with their own parents/legal guardians.
