Exceptional Education from Age 3 to Grade 6
River Valley School (RVS) offers a unique early childhood and elementary school experience for children from Pre-Junior Kindergarten (age 3) through Grade 6.
Who Thrives at RVS?

No Formal Academic Testing
Academic testing is not required as part of the admissions process. River Valley School’s diverse student community includes a wide range of learning styles, backgrounds, and strengths. While not a DSEPS (Disabilities-Specific Education Programs) school, RVS offers a robust and proactive learning support program designed to meet students where they are and help them grow with confidence.
Flexible Care & Busing

Before & After School Care: The school’s in-house Kids Club provides high-quality care from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Convenient Calgary Busing: Daily school-run transportation is available in the Northwest, Southwest, and inner-city, helping families across Calgary access RVS programs with ease.

River Valley School prioritizes early intervention, personalized support, and enrichment opportunities to set children up for long-term success. The school also employs in-house Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists to support students with assessed needs.
