At River Valley School, our Elementary students embark on a journey of discovery through immersive inquiry and project-based learning opportunities that inspire them to question, explore, and innovate.

Leading with kindness and compassion
At River Valley School, we believe in cultivating leaders who lead with kindness and compassion, both within our school and in the wider community.
Our Student Government (Stu-Go) is a cornerstone of student leadership, providing a platform for student voices to be heard and valued. Through democratic elections held in each grade from 1 to 6, students select representatives who serve as advocates for their peers.
In fostering a culture of empathy and support, we also implement a ‘Buddy Program’ that fosters meaningful connections between students of different ages. This program serves as a powerful tool for nurturing social and emotional skills while fostering a strong sense of community. Through these interactions, older students mentor and guide younger peers, fostering a culture of mutual respect and understanding.
